Optional: Lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, or mustard for extra toppings
Instructions:
Season Pork Chops: Season both sides of the pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
Cook Pork Chops: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the pork chops. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Toast Buns (Optional): While the pork chops are cooking or resting, lightly toast the cut sides of the sandwich rolls or buns under a broiler or in a dry skillet for a minute or two until golden brown.
Assemble Sandwiches: Place a cooked pork chop on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
Add Chow Chow: Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of chow chow relish over the pork chop on each sandwich.
Add Optional Toppings: If desired, add lettuce, sliced tomato, or a dollop of mustard, or Sweet Home Hot Chow Chow
Serve: Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
