Sweet Potato Butter Cinnamon Rolls
For the dough: 1. 4 cups all-purpose flour 2. 1/4 cup granulated sugar 3. 1 packet instant yeast 4. 1 teaspoon salt 5. 1 cup milk 6. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 7. 2 eggs For the filling: 8. 1/2 cup Sweet Home Food's Sweet Potato Butter 9. 1/2 cup brown sugar 10. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon For the icing: 11. 1 cup powdered sugar 12. 2 tablespoons milk 13. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt. 2. In a saucepan, heat milk until warm, then add melted butter. Stir until butter is melted. 3. Add warm milk mixture and eggs to the flour mixture. Mix until well combined. 4. Gradually add the remaining flour until a dough forms. 5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. 6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. 7. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle on a floured surface. 8. Spread Sweet Home Food's Sweet Potato Butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top. 9. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side, then slice into 12 rolls. 10. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for an additional 30 minutes. 11. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 12. Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. 13. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the icing. 14.
